Super Bowl 2012

We had a great Super Bowl get together this year, and it was our first time hosting!  The party was very last minute.  Saturday night we were asking our friends what they were doing, and trying to find a party to go to.  A couple of friends of ours weren't doing anything, so I put out a simple invitation that if they wanted to come hang out at our place they were welcome.  They decided to, and asked if they could bring friends, which we were fine with... but now I had a REAL party on my hands.  Ah!  So I came up with a menu: Pigs in a blanket, homemade pizza rolls, potato skins, queso dip, chips and salsa, spinach and artichoke dip, hummus, and for dessert: espresso brownies.  We had a great time... but they ate almost nothing (!!!).  So now we pretty much set for a week of leftovers for both lunch and dinner.  So. Much. Food.  Luie loved the company, he showed off his tricks, high-fiving everybody, dancing, rolling over, waving bye-bye.  Looking forward to hopefully hosting another party next year, but I hope they bring their appetites!
