No time for blogging after getting back from vacation, just work, work, work. We returned home a couple of weeks ago and I only now taking pictures off the camera. I didn't take as many pictures this year because the water was muddier looking with all the recent storms (which means the shore was covered in broken sea shells). Our trip was only 3 nights, not nearly long enough. Hopefully next year we'll be able to stay the entire week. In our short trip we did a LOT of eating, and I am still avoiding the gym. Winter weight {sigh}. Destin has some great restaurants that are on our "must go" list every year, and I think we added one this is with a new place that a friend recommended. We were able to go to McGuire's Pub ( where we've been before, but not for the food), Dewey's Seafood (new place!), and Louisiana Lagniappe - my favorite. McGuire's for the beer and steaks, Dewey's for the shrimp, and Louisiana Lagniappe for great food and the amazing view (pricier, but worth it). Our last night we had dinner on the covered deck at Louisiana Lagniappe, watching it rain over the bay... perfect.
