French Toast

I've made a healthier version of French toast in the past, unfortunately it wasn't endorsed by my audience. This is a classic, easy recipe that everyone will like.

Yield: 3-4 servings

1/2 loaf of French baguette, sliced ~ 3/4 inch
~3/4 cup of milk (I used 1%)
2 eggs,
2 Tbsp honey
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
Cooking spray
Maple syrup

Beat milk and eggs together, add the next 3 ingredients, mix well.
Heat a skillet over medium heat, coat with cooking spray.
Soak the bread slices in the milk and egg mixture, about 30 seconds on each side.
Add to the skillet in batches, brown on both sides.
Heat maple syrup in the microwave, about 30 seconds on high, just before serving.
